Something to Talk About

Good Morning! Being that I have a major sweet tooth today, I decided it would be a great idea to share this delicious recipe with you. It's definitely Something to Talk About...

Chocolate Pecan Pie
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup sugar
4 ounces sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecan halves, lightly salted and toasted
1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chocolate, butter and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Stir in the pecans. Pour into the pie shell. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the edge comes out clean.

Serves 8
